DD 214 Chronicle: The newspaper for northeast Ohio veterans is here!

The Premier Edition of DD 214 Chronicle will be arriving soon at library systems, VA health facilities, VFW and Legion posts. It’s a great paper for a great readership: U.S. Military Veterans.

DD 214 is published by The Uhl Group, same outfit that launched our web site, www.clevelandwarveterans.com, and our award-winning radio show, “When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again.” DD 214′s area of operation is four northeast Ohio counties: Lake, Summit, Lorain, and Cuyahoga. The newspaper is delivered without charge, but if you want it sent directly to your home, there’s a subscription form, too.

DD 214 is designed to be useful, valuable, current as well as historical, and a great read for those who wore the uniform.

All sorts of great reading in the Premier Issue: a cover story on Iwo Jima, a call for an official Viet Nam Veterans Day, an excerpt from Love You More Than You Know (a collection of stories from mothers who sent their sons and daughters off to war,) very good golf column and a pretty good cigar column, too. Plenty more.

Education will get lots of attention, and health care, too. Our columnists are top-notch and our feature writers are award-winners.

Now, about you. In addition to enjoy DD 214 Chronicle, please be a part of it. Be a critic, a contributor, a vet with important ideas for stories.

Recent research shows the best way to enjoy DD 214 Chronicle is seated in a recliner, cold beer within arm’s reach. Just as it should be.
