Terry, we mustered at Sunnybrook last friday for the grand finale. There was an aroma of fine cigars, and the propect of a great wine tasting after the event. We proceeded to the Blue Ribbon, the entire entourage, to pay tribute to a fallen hero. You and I entered the stream for a final experience. i saw a lrge brown trout observing us in respect.

Good bye to a great soldier and terrific friend. I know you are missed by all that passed your way. During my visit with Ambassador Joe Willson and Valerie, this last year, I asked if they met you during their service in Africa...I only said "..Lambacher around '69.." and Ambassador Wilson said he never worked with you, but that you were a great soldier and respected by all. Yep, that's the guy! My deepest condolences to your family. Art Serio

John, my name is Jim Rosin (68-69 U.S.N., Vietnam Veteran Mobile Riverine Force. In early 2008 I started the hard work of having March 29th as Vietnam Veterans Day in Ohio. Twenty-nine other states either have it or are in the process. Senator Mark Wagoner took it and as of now it's S.B.87. But the Ohio American Legion is totally against it. All but three veterans groups on the O.V.A.C. are for it. With the great help of my Nam brother Paul Hauke, we been fighting this BATTLE. On board now is Luke Patrino and Ray Saikus. The story needs to be brought out and examined. The Plain Dealer did an article on this situation, where the corruption is BAD. Believe me when I say bad. (Welcome Home, Brother).

I would agree that your Uncle was wise. And thank God to all of those that have or are serving our country. I personally believe all citizens owe them not only our respect, but also our support in and after combat.

Sounds like that Uncle Bob "the Godfather" had some wonderful words of wisdom for a young boy about to have his life altered forever. It helps when you start out surrounded like great souls like Marie and your Dad and now to find out your Godfather, my Tidy, I don't know if you inspire this kind of attention or you just deserve it. Excellent work.
thanks
